CPA vs. Revshare: What’s the Difference?

If you weren’t aware, at Digistore24, offer both CPA and Revshare commission models to provide our clients with flexibility, giving them the ability to choose which one works best for them.

But, what is the difference between the two?

Don’t worry if you don’t know the answer, I get asked this question quite often!

CPA is short for ‘Cost Per Action’. In affiliate marketing this is a revenue model where vendors pay a fixed commission amount for a certain action to affiliates (ex: $50 for each sale the affiliate referred).

While Revshare is a revenue model in affiliate marketing where vendors split a portion of their total sales as the commission to affiliates (ex: 75% commission on sales referred by affiliate).
